The recent advancements of FYREWASH® F2

Why choose Rochem FYREWASH® F2?

FYREWASH® F2 has a unique foam management characteristic supporting superior cleaning performance. Foam produced while spraying into the compressor allows the wash fluid to fully wet the compressor surfaces while rapidly chemically removing the fouling from the compressor surfaces. This unique foam characteristic allows the foam to collapse during the rinsing phase of the water wash, significantly reducing the time to rinse and getting the engine back online sooner.

What are the changes to FYREWASH® F2?

FYREWASH® F2 meets OEM specifications for compressor cleaning.

Glycols are considered dangerous to health: the new formulation has enabled the removal of the glycols, so it is now glycol-free and odourless.

The grease cutter Terpinolene has recently been classified as a dangerous product for transportation in Europe. In response, we’ve successfully replaced it with a sustainable plant-based product, which not only complies with legislation but improves the cleaning/rinsing properties.

The plant-based components are renewable and Fyrewash® F2 remains highly biodegradable.

Is the new FYREWASH® F2 better?

We are delighted with the updated formulation for FYREWASH® F2: it performs better than ever while complying with all necessary legislation and OEM requirements. Crucially, it retains the low foaming characteristic of the original formula which means customers can run quicker rinse cycles, use less water and get their site back up to full load faster.

As a guide, a GE 7F customer’s off-line wash rinsed in approximately 90 minutes. When comparing to other chemicals on the market, a GE 7HA customer reported their off-line wash rinsed an incredible three hours faster than with a competitor’s product.
