Background

Duncan joined Rochem in 1999 as an electrical engineer with a background in electrical engineering and information technology.

He had previously completed a four-year electrical engineering apprenticeship with a major tobacco machinery manufacturer.

He then joined Vero Electronics, a company involved with designing and manufacturing equipment and systems for customers like Nokia, Ericsson, and NDS (News Data Systems): part of the Rupert Murdoch empire!

After initially joining Rochem to look after all things electrical, Duncan later moved 'upstairs' to become a Technical Coordinator.

During a company restructuring in 2022, Duncan was appointed to the new role of Senior Engineering and Technical Manager and now works closely with the MD, Martin Howarth and Senior Finance and Operations Manager Adrienne Griffiths.

Duncan lives in Winchester with his partner Helen, daughter Lottie and young son Harry.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing 6-a-side football, socializing, and attending events on the VW scene calendar.

He owns a lovingly restored, Disney-commissioned "Herbie" (The "Love Bug") VW Beetle which he hires for weddings and corporate events. He has also restored a 1965 VW Splitscreen Kombi bus named "Boris".
